Prospects check you out before they reply. A monthly video interview gives them something worth finding and gets your network talking.
Content-led outbound pairs prospecting with content that proves your expertise. The easiest way for busy owners is a monthly recorded interview that gets cut into short clips and posts. Prospects who see your content respond warmer to outreach, and your existing network often reaches out privately through texts, emails and DMs, which is where many referrals and inbound deals come from.
When a stranger messages you, you probably check their profile first. Your prospects do the same. If they find an empty profile, your message feels like spam. If they find a short video of you explaining a problem they have, it feels like a conversation worth having.
Most owners don't have time to write content every week, and what they write often sounds stiff. Talking is easier. A 30 to 45 minute interview with good questions captures how you actually think and speak, and it can be turned into many pieces of content.
Here is the process we use at RGI Systems.
Dark social is engagement you can't see in public metrics: someone watches your video, then texts you, emails you or refers a friend. Public likes might look low while real conversations are happening in private.
For one RGI Systems client, content re-engaged their existing network and led to a referral that closed at $4.5K and opened 4 to 5 more opportunities. For others, interview content has led to inbound deals of $20K and $5K+.
Content and outreach support each other. Outreach puts you in front of the right people. Content gives them a reason to trust you when they look you up. Over time, more of your conversations start warm, and some prospects reach out before you ever message them.
